Pinstripe my own Bike A Kawasaki Elimintor 175/Modenas Jaguh

On my fuel tank
Back fender
the whole bike look.

Well actually I spray the whole bike black hehehehe.... This actually wat I did before going to PD bike fest. Just to do some cosmetic upgrade....Look Kind of nice to me.

Here some tips from me on how to do pinstripe if you want to add some old skool look to your bike

1) use some masking tape/paper tape to set up your area of work (else I think you will do ever draw out of the area

2) use marker first......ya I know pro use paint....hey you and me are not pro. So use marker first. (use paint when you know how to use marker......)

3) Try it on paper first (at least a few times okie......just to get use to the idea. )

4) Get extra paint stand by.....you goin to nid it trust me LOL.

5) Unleash your creativity heheheheh...

6) spray a clear coat on it.....to make it last =D

Here the photo of my bike.....For me it give me some classical look on it. Have fun trying on your bike or car LOL.

A new mock-up fuel tank for my bike, Kawasaki Eliminator/Modenas Jaguh 175

Well......after all those small small modification time to move up to the major modification. Tank, exhaust and some back fender....( If only I got enuf budget for all this T.T)

Before any major stuff like this, I have to admit play safe is the best way. Therefore I make some mock up tank ( a fuel tank) few design to see which one is cheaper and nicer.

And lastly I pick a HD rapido tank (look alike LOL) cause you know if you are a chopper fan or BBO fan =x else......try Google LOL.

Here some pic of my mock-up tank.Trying to maximize the fuel capacity of the tank. Enjoy.

Modifying My Bike......Jaguh to Chopper, Back fender ; pt 6

First put putty all over LOL

Sand till you crazy ( actually all smooth, you feel it you know lar....) I think I inhale 10 g of putty

well not very happy with my fender, since last modification so I do something again...hehehe

I cut the fender into the shape I want, Make an extra piece at the back so that it join together. And wah la, a arc shape fender.

And of course some grinding at the top of the fender.(if you are a jaguh owner you know)

So I put some putty/cement on to the fender to get the curve/arc shape that is really nice.....(Man that process take me along time to do.....)

First, was shown to me by Lawless INC, since I have no experience with the putty. Second attempt at my own house.....Failed (T.T) , my putty hardener put too less. Third attempt, too much. It hardened so quick that I didn't manage to fill the hole.....WA KAO. Last nice LOL (at least lar. But spend my sifu/mentor putty till finish, and I haven't buy the thing back to him :p)

But I think he sure known that I will finish the putty LOL. Nevermind next project just give him my putty LOL.Final Product, happy and tired me after whole night with fender

So How's the fender?

A bobber/custom bike Jaguh/kawasaki eliminator 175cc

Almost look alike right? =D

Well, promised to post about my self made fender, but kind of busy scraping motor part for my new project.

Here I post a bike custom by Hungry Ghost Custom INC, a backyard garage customizer with just few tools. I don't know what type of bike should I call it, a bobber? or a short chop? (definitely not short chop since don't even chop were applied). But is very nice custom, I like it very much.

This is just one of his amazing work. See the pic.

(ya ya I know, you guys/gals will probably say that is not even extreme custom what so nice about it. Ok here the situation, we ride our bike daily. Second we use for hardcore ride.By the way,it can pack a lot of ride hehehe )

Modifying My Bike......Jaguh to Chopper, Seat ; pt 5

cut along the bone of the seat
same thing, that is cut along the bone

remove the part that is XXX LOL. and oh try at your own risk. And trim the cushion is too thick ( around 3 cm like tat/ half / according to your preference )

Hell ya......

LOL.....a bit long since I have posting my modification/ DIY stuff. Not a lot of progress lately, since having some financial problem LOL.

Well, well actually I want to cut the original seat. (I will show you how to cut it). But since Lawless Inc, got some nice seat that he cut it already so I just buy from him. Is nice quality anyway.

Oh next post will be back fender.....I know I know .....back fender again. This time the end product will be nicer hehehehe. Just wait and see...

here is the seat that I buy from Lawless......

you see the difference? the seat is thinner and following the line of the bike frame. Well if you going to make a classic type.....don't even try to cut the seat.

Well, you must be shock since I blog about moped...LOL but hey Kawasaki fury look very nice and special....that why I blog it.....look at the pic. It just launch few weeks at Philippine, Indonesia and Thailand if I not mistaken.

The spec are

125cc with 9.9hp@8500rpm, monoshock inline with boday frame....(nice nice) air cooled. Engine compersion 9.5:1. Carburator Keihin PB 18.

the price in Indonesia is USD 1380. So should be around 4554 in malaysia ringgit. Eh still cheap for the look ( I like It hehehe)

If only Modenas will launch it in Malaysia........bet it will sale good (IMHO). Look to me the moped look a bit like naked bike and ER6 LOL. So wat you guys comment?

Modenas Jaguh/Kawasaki EL175 's CDI got restriction?

well, after searching the web for few information. There are not many info at the net.

There are two way to tamper with CDI, one cut the wires that CDI programmed to cut your spark plug fires

Second, change CDI to tamper with spark plug firing.....

So I go a head with checking out "cutting wires" part. And the result are, no of the wires are restricting our spark plug......huh. I cut all of the wires LOL. Damn hoping it was a wires that restrict my jaguh speed. Since top speed only 120km/h.

Bah, so I will try to change CDI to kawasaki eliminator 250 CDI or ZX2R 250 or ZZR 250 CDI. Hope to get this part to test on it. Anyone got ? Can I borrow just for few hour hehehe. Some photo for prove that I (stupidly) cut my CDI wires LOL.
