My Bike ( a 2nd hand one tot)
Well just got my bike last saturday on 2/2/2008 LOL.
The process
1) Set my objective---->nid to ride 70km max a day and more then 150 cc
2) Buy some BikeTrader magazine.( a few week/a month before the date) hehehe
3)Then go survey the price list on the bike I want.....that is EasyRider type.
Got few type on my mind
i)Yamaha Virago 250cc----> this one got Twin-V engine.....WOW...but out of my budget 7K or more.(tat is 2nd hand bike yo)
ii)Naza Cruise II 125cc----> got see the bike but not interest me as CC too small
iii)Modenas Jaguh---> 175cc Malaysian Made so don't trust it a bit....but price in my budget
So..... I go survey around the Website and forum for 3rd party suggestion. Forum like
http://malaysianbikers.com.my
http://choppersgarage.tk
From there I know that actually Modenas Jaguh is Kawasaki Eliminator 175(India call it Kawasaki Boss 175) google it and you will find the info =D
Hmmm if Kawasaki Brand, at least it rebrand onli to Modenas so I think the bike shud have so quality there.
So I reflip my BikeTrader Magzine there I list out the Bike type are Jaguh. Then figure out wat the average price. The price is ard RM2000 to RM3000 for 8-10 yrs bike. Okie at least now I got some figure to work with.
Next I head out to nearest area. Tmn Bahagia and Tmn Paramount to look for motorcycle shop. At Taman Paramount did found two bike shop, I ask around well, dont have Jaguh. =.='' But they do have Virago 500cc. I ask the price for fun, hehehe is 8K =.='' so I try to sit ask my gf tell me tat maybe I'm too short to ride big bike. LOL. Wat you know, my leg can reach the gear and and foot brake/back brake rest.
Well after searching, just dont have luck to found one near by so I call a shop that first. Since in the ad the shop say it got provide guarantee so I call the shop and ask for their address.
The next thing, I went to the shop and ask for price of the modenas jaguh. Since I dont make appointment
with the boss (When I enter I just "grap" one to ask the price). The supervisor of the shop tell me is 3800K but include insurances (first class), road tax, and transfer ownage fee. Which add up to ard hmmmm let me think 200 plus i think
Road tax RM30.
Transfer fee RM50
Insurance shud be ard 110 to 120 i think.
Way out of my budget since is 3800 near 4K.
So I go look ard that ard and see even more lousy offer.....3800....include nothing =.='' just the bike.
I was so desprate....So I call the boss and confirm the address of the Shop again. This time I directly ask the Boss for the price....3300K include everything....warrant for 1 month<--- now this is interesting or at less a good offer and include all the fees. Hmmmm.... 3300 minus the fee 200---> 3100 and save my travel here and there. I look at the bike... at first is like this

Well I test drive it...hmmm kind of nice. Got power at least don't die on half way LOL.
And kind of clean and not major accident, I try to check the body frame (tat I can see from outside, hey is okie...No anything).
So I put some deposit with the boss so that they can proceed with the transfer thing and roadtax thing.
A week after I got my Bike wee..... Bought a full face helmet and a open face helmet. Other thing o.O nothing LOL. So I just drive it back.....
This me with my Bike ( I tot tat with my small body the bike will look big....but it still so small) =.= So optical illusion don't really work well har. At least I'm happy with my ride now =D
